Spring is on its way….
Hope you are all well and enjoying a little sunshine…however short-lived it may be! I always think the start of a new year is a tricky on, lots to look forward to, but also January can be a very grey month. We had the saddest start to the year, and had to say goodbye to our angel and best friend, Twix. I haven’t officially posted anything yet, as can’t quite manage it, but want to remember him, and know that he will be smiling down at us all, telling us to get on with things, and make sure we look after Pepper. She is dealing with things really well now, it was so heart-breaking for all of us, but Twix had been here all the time she has, and he was her comfort blanket and constant. We all just hug her a little tighter, and make sure she feels loved and isn’t lonely. Not going to lie, it’s been a tough start to the year, and we send our love to everyone else who has also had a hard start to the year. We are, as ever, looking forward, and we know our boy will be there with us on our journey.
So what can we look forward to this year….We will continue to welcome clients, both canine and human to our fantastic facilities. The Indoor barn is a godsend in wet and windy weather, and we have seen lots of you using it and enjoying fun and training. We continue to work with www.dakotaschoiceabt.com and www.teesvalleydogtraining.co.uk who offer some fantastic courses and training sessions at our venues, all year round- check out their website for full details.
We continue to welcome Maxismates.org.uk, who regularly come and use our facilities for their dogs to enjoy, and we have been spreading the word, to try and find these wonderful dogs their forever homes. We will continue to fundraise and raise awareness throughout the year for Maxi’s, as well as the Lost Dog Trapping Team, Hope Sanctuary, Mind Charity, and a number of other local charities and causes.
Exciting news coming soon with regards to our new Secure Dog walking field…..watch this space!
